Another day, another European tech conference. This time German startup heroes will be heading to the UK to represent the country at the London Web Summit. A rollcall of Germany’s best and brightest are in the running for its prestigious People’s Choice Award, including DeliveryHero, 6Wunderkinder, Amen, EyeEM, iversity, myTaxi, Readmill, SoundCloud, Wooga.
The inaugural conference is a merger of the two largest web and startup conferences in the UK and Ireland – GeeknRolla and the Dublin Web Summit. The event kicks off on 19 March in the Brewery in London’s East End.
Prominent speakers already confirmed include Edial Dekker of Gidsy, along with CEO of DeliveryHero Fabian Siegel and Earlybird Ventures’ Jason Whitmire, joining luminaries such as Skype co-founder Niklas Zennström, Google CBO Nikesh Arora and Xing founder Lars Hinrichs.
Voting for the People’s Choice award takes in over 150 of the best European digital ventures, and you can still place your vote before closing tomorrow, Wednesday 14 March, at 6pm (GMT).
