Markus WitteMarkus Witte is the co-founder and CEO of language learning tool Babbel.

Hailing from the music industry, Witte managed to grow his company to a presence in 190 countries and 13 languages since launching under parent company Lesson Nine GmbH in 2008.

Babbel, based in Berlin, is now actively taking on the US market after acquiring San Francisco’s social learning iPhone app PlaySay at the end of March this year.
